Well I am an avid history, music and art lover. My first love was music, I spent most of my years singing and playing different instruments both professionally and for fun. From a young age I became very interested in the history of different kinds of music and then stemmed my love of history and everything it encompasses. I remember watching old movies with my mom and just drooling over the costumes they wore and being in musical theater in high school I got to play vintage dress up often. I love vintage because of the history it represents to me, it is the material left overs from people and their stories of times gone by and I love to just think about the eras that the fabric has lived through.
2. What's your favorite thing about selling on Etsy?
I love the flexibility of my own schedule to do what I love, I love the creative spirit that runs through the Etsy community.

Hands down 1940s. I think it comes from the stories my grandparents told. Both of my grandfathers served in WWII and my grandmother would tell stories of going to dances with the sailors so I guess it is just a time period in which I've fell in love with the imagery of the culture that my grandparents described.
4. Where would you like to see your shop in 3 years?
I would love for it to be a full time job. Or at least a sustaining hobby in which I don't have to spend lots of time doing promotion. (I am the worst at it!)

I am in quite a few. Many devoted to Vintage sellers and lovers as well as a couple for the Nashville area. I'm not the best about keeping current in the forums but I love to pop in from time to time. The Nashville groups are great because they put together a lot of craft nights and booths at craft fairs for all of us etsy sellers to be a part of.
6. Do you have any funny stories that relate to selling or collecting vintage?
I don't know if I have many funny stories other than I've always been called grandma by some of my friends. But I guess that is bound to happen in college when you sometimes choose staying in to bake or read instead of another night at the bar.
I just sold my favorite one but this is my second fave
